Vintage Kids Clothes, the low down.

Technically vintage relates to an item that’s 20 years plus however these days it’s used for items from different decades & styles.

If you haven’t shopped vintage kids clothes before then Classic Oshkosh dungarees are a vintage staple. The older the item the more value it can hold, this also applies to more sought after patterns. 

Brands to look out for are Vintage Oshkosh, Levi’s & Carhartt for high quality denims and workwear. You can also find treasures from Disney, C&A, Harley Davidson and Old Navy. On the plus side true vintage are generally cut for cloth too!

Vintage Americana is becoming quite popular, you can find baseball, hockey & American football apparel from the 90’s from quality brands like Nike & Adidas to classic garments from Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren. 

If you aren’t quite ready but love the look of vintage then Little Bird is a great retro brand. 

The quality of vintage clothes can vary, typically denim and cotton clothes are amazing quality you just don’t get these days but on the flip side 70’s & 80’s introduction of polyester & acrylic can sometimes make you want to scratch yourself free!
