Fun Things For Kids Pt2
Keeping the kids entertained can be a struggle so here are this weeks Thursdays top tips
Plant some seeds, cress is a no brainier even if you have never grown anything before, you can grow it on cotton wool in an egg shell, on a paper towel or of course soil & it only takes 3 days to germinate so no waiting ages for things to happen.
strawberries are another good one, if you don’t want to buy seeds you can buy plants online ready to plant. They can be grown in a container so you don’t need lots of room. Sunflowers are easy too! Have fun!
Build an obstacle course, I used to do this all the time when mine were toddlers. It can be an indoor or outdoor event, put cushions in the door way to jump over, climb on the foot stool, crawl under the table... you get this gist!
Play a game of charades! Better for slightly older children but we had loads of fun this week playing this.
Have you seen any rainbows while you’ve been on a walk? Have you made your own rainbow? There is a huge Facebook group that started this up so children can spot rainbows in peoples windows. People have painted, drawn, modelled and even made rainbows from balloons. Go check it out and get involved.
What’s been a success in your house this week? PE with Joe? My girls are loving getting involved in the morning.
Keep going & keep safe everyone xxx Lucy
