Fun Things - Not So Messy Play
Everyone loves messy play right? Well maybe except everyone except mummy who has to clean it all up!
Do not fear, I come to the rescue with no so messy play, keeping that mess contained! Inspired by some Mummy's on IG I did some digging on keeping it clean and making it great sensory play.
Paint in a bag
Grab a sandwich bag, one with a zip lock, squirt some different coloured poster paint into it and zip it up! Bingo Bango you have squeezey clean fun! This can also be done with a small cup full of coloured water with sequins in it. Anything thats slightly squeezable.
Yoghurt sensory play
Ok so this one isn't as clean but it is containable!
This can be done with yoghurt or shaving foam depending on age, however yoghurt is clearly safer and yummy!
For babies get one of those long sleeve bibs & spread some yoghurt on their high chair table, for toddlers you can do the same on a tray. If using yoghurt you can add blueberries and raspberries to add colour if you wish, let them make their own art or practise letter formation, whichever it will help their hand eye co-ordination and fine motor skills as well as a yummy treat.
Outdoor Path Painting
This works if you have a flagged area. Paint brush, pot of water and away you go! Never ending pictures with zero mess!
Twig & string Art
These are really sweet & would look great hanging in a tree in the garden!
Tag us in any activities you do, it's great to see what you are up to!
